Pilates is back at ChalkBox!
Every Friday 6pm everyone is welcome to try pilates.
You don't need to be a ChalkBox member, anyone is welcome to join, though places are limited.
Pilates is an exercise system which works on strengthening, lengthening and toning muscles, as well as improving posture, flexibility and balance, leading to a stronger, leaner and more streamlined body. Muscles surrounding joints are strengthened and joints are mobilised, helping to maintain or improve mobility.
The system benefits absolutely everyone, whatever their level of fitness, from people suffering long term health conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis, people with mobility issues, pregnancy, people with weight problems, to athletes who want to enhance their strength and fitness.
Life causes mental and physical stresses which in turn causes imbalance within the body. Pilates helps to rebalance. It connects the mind to the body, helping to release endorphins which aid pain relief and produce feelings of well being.

You can book in for separate Pilates sessions £7,- per session or you can buy a Pilates membership for £26,- for 1 Pilates session a week.
