Introducing a new session: No Excuses Classes
In these sessions we will help you to focus on what fit and healthy means to you! Is it being able to climb the stairs at work without getting out of puff? Is it about lifting an object without feeling a niggle in your shoulder? Or is it simply losing some weight and getting stronger? By finding a “personal” finish line – one that ‘s about you rather than other people’s standards – you will give yourself the motivation to keep going. And exercising with a group of like minded people will give you that additional drive to continue your fitness journey.
- How does a session look like?
They are designed to help you fall back in love with exercise, easing into a manageable and sustainable routine. It combines body weight exercises, lifting weights with progressive cardio workouts that will improve your general fitness.
A typical session looks like:
5 min General warm up
10-15min Mobility & Skill Drills
30min Strength and /or Conditioning workout
10min Cool down, strectching
We will be working with you on establishing good movement patterns and technique in every session. How do you squat? Is your mobility allowing you to squat deep? How does this effect your back, knees and hips?
Good movement is the foundation for everything you do and want to achieve in fitness and life.
I cannot run or do any of the movements I see in the workouts!
Don't worry all movements are scalable and during your sessions your coaches will find a suitable movement your can perform comfortable and safely. Our aim is the keep you moving throughout the entire workout and as you are getting fitter you will be able to do more movements.
The workouts you post are too hard, I could never do that.
Have no fear. The workout is made to challenge you and if needed will be scaled to YOUR skill level. We change the load, repetitions, rounds, and distances to fit your abilities. Modifying the workout will prevent you from over exerting yourself and prevent overwhelming soreness.
How long will it take to see results?
This really depends on how hard YOU are willing to work. Someone that is dedicated and wants results instantly can achieve it fast. If you are willing to change your nutrition and start exercising immediately, then you could achieve results in a few weeks. The average person can start to see physical changes in 4 weeks. Members often get other changes much quicker. They experience more energy throughout the day, better sleep, better focus, and less stress after a few sessions.
