The Big Lifts Class

We are adding a new class to the schedule on Saturday's from 0830-0930, running it on a trial basis. It is a session focused on Movement & Skills and will hone in the 5 Big Lifts. It is another opportunity to work on your positional form, tackle mobility and develop your strength. The class size will be limited to max 8 and is focused on one, sometimes two movements only.

It is suitable for beginners and advanced members.


These are all compound movements, involve several muscle groups and helps to prevent injuries. A regular strength training program helps you reduce body fat and burn calories more efficiently, which can result in healthy weight loss. Strength training helps preserve and enhance your muscle mass and bone mass, regardless of your age.

  5. Clean

Will you lift heavy?

The focus is on form and building your confidence. If you feel ready you may lift heavy.

What's the difference with a CrossFit session?

During a regular CrossFit session you are most likely going through several movements at a high pace. In this session you will spend 1 hour on one movement sometimes two. Also there's a lot more assistance work to address weaknesses.

Will I get fit?

Yes you will as progressive overload of your body creates an anabolic stimulus and therefore triggers lean muscle growth :-)
