First of all we are on the third instalment of Building Fitter Bodies 2019. For those new to CHALKBOX below a quick recap of what you can expect. Coach Alan explaining the general outline and Coach Isk updates on what’s coming next.
Couple of quick updates:
Thursday 8PM is Open Gym due to Coaches development meeting. Book in as per usual and there’s a workout on the board.
Our next Friends & Family WOD is on the schedule for June 16th! Activate your friends and family again and bring them along!

What to expect this week?
Working on strengthening our building blocks. There will be twice a week squats & shoulder work on the schedule on alternating days. We are following a progressive overload methodology s we are slowing things a little bit down…just a little bit.
Mono structural day followed by core work.
Bring your lungs. This is a classic workout - test how you
AMRAP of KB Swings, squats and Russian Twists. Oh and Row. Gonna be sweaty,
AMRAP after AMRAP. Snatches, Bike, Burpees and Wall Balls.
Circuit of 45s on / 15s off.
Hang Power Clean Practise.
Push as heavy as you can the Prowler followed by skill work of choice.
