Working on your Running Technique

We will be starting Running sessions at ChalkBox!

Don't worry you don't need to run for miles every sessions. We will be working on your running technique to make you a better and more efficient runner. If your running technique improves, you will use your knees and the rest of your body better and therefor you will move better. This will make you a more efficient runner.

Who will be coaching the running sessions?

Meet Darrell: 'Becoming involved in athletics from an early age I placed 64th in the World Junior cross country championships and then earned an athletic scholarship to a US University where I placed 7thin the NCAA Track champs and 8th in the US Cross Country championships. In the early 90s I returned home and ran a 13.58 5000m and placed 8th in the 1992 Olympic Trials and 18th in the UK Cross Country championships in 1994.

Earning England vests I won the Barns Green and Tunbridge Wells half marathons as well numerous 10ks around the South East.

I continue to train and compete but in 2008 I began to coach earning a Level 2 UK Athletics coaching badge. I coach Cross Country at Sevenoaks School and Walthamstow Hall, both of whom are competing this year at Nationals. I run my own RunCoaching business, Run4fit,  where I work with beginners to committed runners on a 1:1 and Group basis.

With over 30 years’ experience in track, road and cross-country running I have the knowledge and experience to improve your performance and achieve your running goals no matter how modest or ambitious and whatever your age or fitness level.

And when you are ready I’ll be able to advise you and prepare you for race day or to meet your target."

Every Sunday 11am

How much will the Running sessions cost?

The running sessions are included in your Unlimited membership!

If you have not got an Unlimited ChalkBox membership the sessions will be £5,- per session

Book in via this link and bring your running shoes on Sunday 11am! We will be training on- and off road.
