Stress Management Workshop

We are excited to host our first workshop of the year. We are planning to host several workshops this year to help improve the lives of our members and others.

We are kicking off with a Stress Management Workshop. All CHALKBOX members learn every day at the gym how to handle the stress we put daily on our bodies. You can train your mind the same way. You can teach yourself how to handle the daily stresses we are constantly exposed to in our daily lives. Some days we can be bucked all day by this little event that has shaken us up. We all do it and it affects our wellbeing.

This workshop is meant for everyone. You will be shown simple tools to tackle daily stresses and maybe bigger stresses in your life. Our aim is to support our members to feel physically strong but also mentally.

It will be hosted by Ani Skoda. Ani is a life coach and is a specialist in stress management.


What you will learn:

  • What stress is

  • How stress affects your mind and body

  • How to recognise stress and identify what your stressors are

  • The pillars of stress management and how you can apply them in your life

  • Breath control for stress regulation and relaxation

  • A simple and effective meditation practice
