Privacy and protection of information: Chalkbox Services Limited will not sell or release your personal information.  Your personal identifiable information is kept secure.  Only authorised employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information

Your personal information is just that – personal, so we always treat it with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, and rest assured, we never pass on, sell or swap your information with any other company for their own marketing purposes.

We are committed to looking after your data and we will always put you first.

What information do we hold about you?

When you enquire about, or purchase a package or membership, we add your name and email address to our database. We will store and share ONLY this data for our use and no others.

How do we use your information?

Your information allows us to update you with news at the gym, programming, events and any other information that may be of interest to you. If you have not joined the gym as yet, your information allows us to educate you on CrossFit, the gym community and how you can get started at ChalkBox .

If you already receive our marketing communications, we’ll continue to send you these unless you ask us to stop. We hope you enjoy hearing from us just as much as we enjoy putting our updates together, and we promise never to bombard you with too many communications.

If you receive our email based marketing communications, you can choose to unsubscribe at any time.

Our memberships have a cancelation notice period of 1 month. A written notification needs to be sent to frontdesk@chalkbox.co in case of cancelation.

    • Provide clothing for events.We need your personal information if we host any future events and need to provide you with any clothing.

2) Your payment details

  • Your payment information:

    • Stripe and GoCardless are used as the data controller for all payment information. We use Stripe and GoCardless to keep your data secure. Stripe/Gocardless is used to take out scheduled payments for subscriptions, top up tokens and to manage late cancellations and no shows.

    • Stripe & GoCardless protection. Stripe& GoCardless are in full accordance with GDPR regulations. To make sure we keep all your personal payment information secure and in line with GDPR regulations.

3) Your class reservations

  • Previous and current class bookings:

    • To track current/future bookings. We need to keep track of current and future bookings in order to manage attendance and to reserve you a spot in any class.

    • To track previous class attendances. We need this to track your historic attendances in case of any no show disputes or needed for any accident or evacuation reports. This information also enables us to monitor our class capacity and ensure our timetable is up to date to meet demand with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction.

    • To ensure that you are physically healthy to attend classes, and aware of the inherent risks of participating in the fitness regime. We need to ensure that at the time of signing up that you are healthy, and that you are aware that we would advise seeking medical advice prior to exercising if in any doubt about your ability to engage in the fitness regime offered.

    • Images taken of you within the gym space. We use any images taken within the gym for marketing purposes only, unless specified otherwise. We will only hold imagery under your consent.

The ads you see will be based on information we hold about you or your previous use of CHALKBOX (for example, search history and previous orders/services) or previous CHALKBOX ads you have interacted with.
